Al-Shaibani’s joining comes as the culmination of an exploratory journey that extended for years, during which he completed the “Seven Summits” challenge by ascending the highest peak on each continent, including Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world, in addition to engaging in field experiences in various environments that included mountain highlands and icy regions, in addition to exploring caves and volcanoes.
His trips also included crossing the Rub’ al-Khali desert on foot, one of the largest The continuous sandy deserts of the world, in addition to the experience of walking in Antarctica, in one of the harshest natural environments on Earth, where he documented the environmental and human challenges associated with these exploratory trips.
An important station
In addition to his field activity, Al-Shaibani is working on producing a number of documentaries related to his trips, with the aim of transforming exploratory experiences into cognitive content that contributes to spreading the culture of exploration and enhancing environmental awareness.
In commenting on his joining, Al-Shaibani stressed that his joining the club represents a station. This achievement comes in light of the growing interest in the Kingdom in the fields of eco-tourism and adventure experiences, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, and reflects the presence of Saudi competencies in international platforms specialized in exploration and field research.
