Al-Mahra "Scary" Topping "Al Ain Derby" And the horse "Conqueror" "Speed champion"

Al Ain, April 4 / WAM / Al Ain Equestrian Club concluded yesterday evening the 13th race activities of the season by crowning the winners of 9 rounds for purebred Arabian horses, with the participation of 127 horses, and a total of prizes amounting to 590 thousand dirhams.
The filly “Makhifa NF” for the National Stables won the “Al Ain Derby” title, and the horse “Al Fateh” by Sheikh Faisal Hamad Al Thani was crowned the “Al Ain Speed Championship” title.
“Makhifa NF” achieved victory, under the supervision of Hilal and Tahnoun Al-Alawi, and led by Abdulaziz Al-Balushi, in the fifth and main round, over a distance of 1,800 meters, for horses aged 4 years, “Emirates Production”, for the “Al Ain Derby” title, while “Al-Fateh”, under the supervision of Ibrahim Al-Hadrami, and led by Ray Dawson, came in the ninth round, over a distance of 1,000 meters, for horses aged 4 years and above, for the “Al Ain Race” speed title.
“Makin” for purebreds, under the supervision of Anthony Camille, and led by Taj O’Shea, won the first half (A), for a distance of 2,000 metres, for horses aged 4 years and above, and the Tunisian-born horse “Okasha” by Al-Razeem Racing, trained by Maitha Al Suwaidi, led by Carlos Henrico, won the title of the second half (B), for a distance of 2,000 metres, for horses aged 4 years and above.
“Wahhaj” by Mohammed Jassim Al Nuaimi, under the supervision of Ibrahim Al Hadhrami and led by Khaled Al Balushi, won the title in the third heat, for a distance of 2000 metres, for horses aged 4 years and above, and “Majazif” by Abdullah Al Mashaykhi, under the supervision of Ibrahim Al Hadhrami, “triple”, and led by Ray Dawson, dominated the lead in the fourth heat, for a distance of 1,800 metres, for horses aged 4 years and above.
“F Mead” by Khaled Khalifa Al Nabooda, under the supervision of Ernest Oertel and led by Taj Oshi, won the title of the sixth race over a distance of 1600 metres, by a nose, amidst strong competition between horses that did not win two races, aged 5 years and above, “Emirates Production”.
The filly “Muzna” for the National Stables, under the supervision of Hilal and Tahnoun Al-Alawi, topped the “double” and led by Taj O’Shea, “triple,” the seventh round (A), for a distance of 1,400 metres, for horses aged 4 years and above, “Emirates Production”. Also, “From Abu Dhabi Al Cautious” by Mohammed Hareb Al Otaiba, under the supervision of trainer Qais Abboud, and led by Marcelino Rod Rigues, won the title in the eighth round (B), for a distance of 1,400 metres, for horses of two ages. 4 years and above, “Emirates production”.
The winners were crowned by His Excellency Mohammed Rashid Al Nasiri, General Manager of the Club, and Saeed Al Muhairi, Director of the Community Sports Department at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, in the presence of His Excellency Faisal Al Rahmani, Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee, General Supervisor of Races, and Ali Farouk, Director of Equestrian Sports.
