Nahyan bin Mubarak approves Multaqa programmes "Our life in the Emirates" Which launches Tuesday

ABU DHABI, 5 April / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sandooq Al Watan, said that the “Our Life in the Emirates” forum in Abu Dhabi, which bears the slogan “Readings in the Love of the Emirates,” aims to embody the deep and wise vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, to be a reality on the ground, pointing out that the forum is a live knowledge, cultural and societal platform, It enhances awareness of the role of national identity in preserving homelands, and highlights the role of shared values in consolidating societal cohesion and sustaining development.

His Excellency stressed that organizing this type of cultural and national events also embodies the mission of the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence and the Homeland Fund to promote belonging, national responsibility, and the human values ​​established in Emirati society.

This came after His Excellency approved the program and activities of the “Our Life in the Emirates” forum under the slogan “Readings for the Love of the Emirates,” which begins the day after tomorrow, Tuesday, in the capital, Abu Dhabi, in the presence of His Excellency Mohammed Al-Murr, leaders of thought, culture and creativity from the Emirates and the Arab world, a number of academics, critics, professors at Emirati universities, publishers and media figures, in addition to influencers on social media channels and podcasts.

His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan added that this event embodies the wise meanings conveyed by the speech of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, in which he affirmed that “the UAE is a strong nation with its values, reassured by its leadership, cohesive with its society,” stressing that this nation, which was founded on human values, coexistence, tolerance, cooperation among all, and welcoming all of all nationalities, colors, and religions, is proceeding with confidence. And steadfastness in his march towards the future, stressing that the slogan of the forum, “Readings in Love of the Emirates,” confirms that the strength of the state lies in its cohesive society and its national identity that brings together its people and everyone who lives on its land, and that this nation based on values and humanity continues its march with confidence towards the future.

The forum celebrates Emirati creative production in various fields, especially the one that celebrates the Emirati identity as a fundamental pillar of the strength, cohesion and stability of society. It focuses on 3 activities: the community interaction area, the main sessions, and our life in the Emirates. In addition to the opening session in which His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and His Excellency Mohammed Al Murr speak, it includes two main sessions, the main intellectual session entitled “A Nation Moving With Confidence” and discussing the implications of His Highness’s speech. The President said, “The UAE is a nation strong in its values, reassured by its leadership, cohesive in its society.” The role of national identity and shared values in enhancing the cohesion and stability of Emirati society is also discussed, and the readings session titled “For the Love of the Emirates” includes selected readings from the contributions of the “Our Life in the Emirates” initiative, in addition to new literary and humanitarian texts that express the experience of life in the Emirates.

The forum provides the opportunity for participants of different nationalities to express their love for the UAE, through interactive community murals on which they write messages expressing the values ​​of belonging, tolerance, and coexistence.

The forum’s pavilions will include visual murals containing pictures and sayings of His Highness the President of the State, may God protect him, embodying the leadership and humanitarian values on which the state is based, in addition to spaces designated for influencers and content makers, and two podcast platforms to conduct direct dialogues about identity and belonging, in addition to an exhibition of books whose ideas and topics include writings that talk about national identity and belonging to this nation, in addition to books that relate to the values of Emirati society such as tolerance, coexistence, and human brotherhood, with the participation of a large number of role players. Publishing that is interested in documenting the UAE experience.

The interactive area also includes photography areas that reflect symbols of the Emirati identity, and live display screens that broadcast interaction and content directly, which contributes to creating an integrated cultural and media environment.

The program includes a segment of readings for the love of the Emirates, during which participants present literary and humanitarian texts that express their experience with life in the Emirates, reflecting the diversity of voices and unity of meaning, and embodying the concept of national identity as a shared living experience, in addition to organizing specialized workshops in writing and expression, one of which is in Arabic and focuses on the role of language as a vessel for identity and belonging, and the other is in English, and aims to enable participants to convey the Emirates experience and its human values ​​to a global audience.

The forum attracts a wide selection of Their Excellencies, ambassadors, representatives of countries, community clubs, academics, teachers, writers, publishing houses, media figures, artists and intellectuals, and the Arab Writers Union, in addition to participants in the “Our Life in the Emirates” initiative, representatives of government agencies, dignitaries, families, and university and school students, in a scene that reflects the unifying spirit of the Emirates.
