Issa Al Ali resigns from coaching Masfoot

Masfout team coach, Issa Bussim Al Ali, announced his resignation from leading the first team for personal reasons, expressing his happiness with the technical development the team witnessed during his leadership, a few rounds before the end of the current season of the first division league.

Issa Al Ali thanked the club’s board of directors, wishing the team continued success and achieving positive results in the remaining rounds of the season.

Al Ali told Emirates Today: “We were able, in a short period, to make a clear shift in the level of results, with the support of the club’s board of directors, as the team moved from last place to the warm region in the ranking table, and is currently ranked twelfth with 18 points.”

He confirmed that he led the team in 8 matches, during which he achieved three victories over Al-Hamriyah, City and Al-Ittifaq, compared to three draws with Majd, Al-Jazira Al-Hamra and Al-Fujairah, and suffered two losses against Al-Orouba and Al-Dhaid.
The coach pointed out that during his football career he discovered distinguished local talents, such as Shabab Al-Ahly player Sultan Adel, and Kalba player Yasser Hassan, in addition to his contribution to the Majd team remaining in the first division league last season.
