المملكة: Transport Authority: Warning 24 thousand transporters before applying penalties against them
Declared , according to supervisory statistics, warned more than 24 thousand carriers, giving them an opportunity to correct their violations before penalties were applied against them, through more than 434 thousand checks carried out on Land and more than 8,268 inspection operations in the maritime transport sector. These operations also included visits to 77 stations in the railway sector. This reflects the Authority’s continuous performance in following up on transport activities and ensuring the extent of everyone’s compliance with the regulations, which contributes to ensuring the provision of safe services to beneficiaries.
Transport Activities
The Authority indicated that land transport activity recorded a compliance rate of 91%, while the compliance rate in maritime transport reached about 99%, while the compliance rate in railway transport reached 100%, in an indicator that reflects the extent of the commitment of licensed establishments and individuals to the regulations approved by the Authority.
It is noteworthy that the number of violations in land, sea and rail transport activities during the past month reached more than 80,581 violations, while the number of violations in the maritime transport sector reached 8 violations.
