The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior asks citizens and residents to stay in their homes from 12 pm today until 6 am tomorrow.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior called on citizens and residents to remain in their homes from 12 pm today until 6 am tomorrow, “to preserve everyone’s safety.”

The Ministry explained, in a statement on the “X” platform, that this comes “in light of the current conditions that the country and the region are going through, and within the framework of the Ministry of Interior’s continuous follow-up of security developments, and its keenness to take preventive measures in a way that contributes to preserving the security of society and the safety of citizens and residents, and enhances the ability of the concerned authorities to deal with any emergency under the current circumstances.”

She added, “In order to preserve everyone’s safety, the Ministry of Interior calls on citizens and residents to remain at home and avoid going out, except in cases of extreme necessity, from twelve o’clock midnight on Tuesday, April 7th, until six o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, April 8th.”

It also explained that this is “as a precautionary measure that comes within the framework of ensuring the safety of everyone, enhancing the level of prevention, and enabling the security authorities to perform their tasks with high efficiency. The Ministry also confirms that this measure comes within the framework of maintaining security and stability, calling on everyone to adhere to the instructions issued and cooperate with the competent authorities during this stage.”
