Hatta is close to runner-up…and rising is our goal

Hatta player, Moroccan Anis Karimi, confirmed that his team’s victory over Gulf United with a clean goal in the 22nd round of the First Division League is a valuable victory at a crucial time in the season, with promotion tickets to the professional league approaching.
Karimi explained that the victory raised the team’s score to 37 points, making it only one point away from the second-place team, indicating that the team’s goal is to qualify for the professional league.
He told «Emirates Today»: “The match was not easy against a strong team like (Gulf United), especially in light of the pressure of the matches and their succession within a short period, but we succeeded in dealing with the course of the match and achieving the most important thing by obtaining the three points.” He added: “This victory came as a result of the great efforts made by the players on the field, in addition to commitment to the instructions of the technical staff, and the continuous support from the club management.”
Karimi stressed that the team’s approach to runner-up does not put pressure on the players, but rather is an additional motivation to continue the positive results and compete strongly for first place.
