The Ministry of Defense confirms that the skies have been free of any air threats during the past hours
Abu Dhabi, 9 April / WAM / The Ministry of Defense announced that the UAE air defenses did not detect any ballistic missiles, cruise missiles or drones coming from Iran today (Thursday).
The Ministry explained that since the start of the blatant Iranian attacks, the UAE air defenses have dealt with 537 ballistic missiles, 26 cruise missiles, and 2,256 drones heading to the country.
She indicated that no infections were recorded during the past hours, so the total number of cases remains 224, from multiple nationalities including Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, and Comoros. Turkish, Iraqi, Nepalese, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, Palestinian, Ghanaian, Indonesian, Swedish, Tunisian, Moroccan, and Russian.
Also, no cases of martyrdom or deaths were recorded during the past hours. Thus, since the beginning of the blatant Iranian attacks, the total number of martyrs reached two martyrs, in addition to the martyrdom of a civilian of Moroccan nationality contracted with the armed forces, while the total number of deaths reached 10 civilians of Pakistani, Nepalese, Bangladeshi, Palestinian, Indian, and Egyptian nationalities.
