“Human Resources and Emiratisation” announces that 4 new financial institutions have joined the “wage protection” system in the country

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced the expansion of the scope of the new wage protection system in the country, with the addition of 4 new financial institutions to the system, as part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to develop digital and financial solutions that guarantee workers’ rights and support employers with broad, diverse and flexible options.
The Ministry confirmed that this step comes to support the continued development of the wage protection system, and to establish the highest standards of transparency and reliability in disbursing workers’ entitlements, in keeping with a flexible and sustainable work environment.
The Ministry explained through its digital platforms that the four financial companies that recently joined the wage protection system are: “Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Al Fardan Exchange, U Bank, and Habib Bank Zurich.”
She stated that with the addition of these financial companies, the total number of financial institutions approved within the system increased to 10 institutions, including a number of banks, digital banks, and exchange companies, which gives companies operating in the country broader options for managing salary files in a way that suits their needs.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation invited all concerned employers and workers who wish to obtain more details, or view direct contact information with these institutions, to visit the Ministry’s official website.
Through these updates, the UAE continues to consolidate its position as a leading global work environment, balancing operating efficiency and protecting the rights of all parties through an integrated legislative and technical system.
