"Ras Al Khaimah Economy" More than 12,000 monitoring visits were carried out during the first quarter

Ras Al Khaimah, April 14 / WAM / The Department of Economic Development in Ras Al Khaimah, represented by the Department of Commercial Control and Protection, carried out 12,065 supervisory visits to various markets and commercial establishments in the emirate during the first quarter of this year.

The department explained that the inspection tours included various commercial activities, as 25 intensive inspection campaigns were implemented targeting vital sectors, with the aim of ensuring that establishments comply with the requirements and laws regulating commercial work.

The department confirmed that the campaigns are part of its strategic plan aimed at enhancing a competitive and sustainable business environment.

She also stressed the continued intensification of oversight and awareness campaigns during the coming period, with a focus on raising the level of awareness among establishment owners and consumers alike, to ensure compliance with the laws and legislation in force in the emirate.

Faisal Abdullah Alyoun, Director of the Commercial Control and Protection Department, said that the Commercial Control and Protection Department continues to implement integrated supervisory plans aimed at enhancing market stability and protecting the rights of consumers, noting that these numbers reflect the size of the efforts made in following up on the compliance of commercial establishments.
