Muslim Council of Elders: Creativity and innovation are a driving force for the progress and prosperity of nations
Abu Dhabi, April 21 / WAM / The Muslim Council of Elders affirmed that creativity and innovation represent a driving force towards the progress and prosperity of nations, and a vital tool for confronting accelerating global challenges, thus contributing to achieving sustainable development and building more stable and cohesive societies.
The Council said, in a statement: On the occasion of World Creativity and Innovation Day, which is celebrated annually on April 21, investing in creative minds, nurturing young energies, and enhancing innovation environments are urgent priorities that require concerted international and institutional efforts, noting that true creativity extends to developing ideas and initiatives that promote the values of dialogue, tolerance and coexistence, establish a culture of peace, and contribute to combating hate speech and extremism.
The Council of Muslim Elders renewed its call to strengthen international cooperation in the fields of creativity and innovation, and the exchange of experiences and knowledge, in a way that contributes to building a knowledge-based future that raises human value, establishes the principles of justice, mercy and tolerance, and paves the way towards a more peaceful and stable world.
