Dubai, April 22 / WAM / The Emirates Health Services Corporation continues to develop an integrated model of health care that combines specialization, prevention and digital integration, through its facilities in Dubai, including Kuwait Hospital, Al Ittihad Health Center and the Dubai Specialized Dental Center, which reflects a qualitative transformation in the provision of health services, supported by rapid growth in the volume of demand and customer confidence.

The number of visits in these three facilities reached about 62 thousand visits during the year 2025, an increase of more than 44% compared to the year 2022, while the percentage of customer satisfaction with their trip according to the “Customer Pulse” index reached 98%, indicative of the efficiency of the system and the integration of its components.

These indicators and results were highlighted during a field tour by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Health Services Corporation, during which he was accompanied by His Excellency Dr. Yousef Mohammed Al Sarkal, Director General of the Corporation, and His Excellency Dr. Issam Al Zarouni, Executive Director of the Medical Services Sector at the Corporation.

Dr. Muhammad Al-Olama stressed that this growth reflects the organization’s success in reshaping the health care delivery model to be more integrated and responsive to community needs, by increasing specialized services within hospitals and primary care centers alike, and linking them to an advanced preventive system, which contributes to improving the quality of life, enhancing community health, and reducing the need for transfers between levels of care.

The expansion of specialized services is one of the most prominent drivers of this growth, as the specialized clinics at Kuwait Hospital in Dubai received more than 37,000 visits during the year 2025, an increase of 69% compared to 2022, supported by the provision of advanced specialized services, including a center of excellence for diabetes treatment, in addition to the hospital’s classification as a reference center in the ear, nose, and throat specialty, where precise and complex operations are performed, including cochlear implants and operations to clean and restore the eardrum, using modern and advanced technologies. The most prominent of which is plasma technology, which contributes to reducing pain and bleeding, accelerating recovery, and improving therapeutic results.

The hospital has also developed an integrated model for obesity surgeries that allows all medical evaluations to be completed within one visit lasting from two to three hours, across multidisciplinary teams covering various medical fields, and linking these visits to a unified electronic medical record that allows an accurate and immediate review of the health condition, which enhances the efficiency of coordination and the quality of the medical decision.

In the context of enhancing specialized services, the Dubai Specialized Dental Center continues to consolidate its position as one of the advanced reference centers in providing dental services, as the center provides an integrated system that includes 9 major dental specialties, including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontal medicine and surgery, endodontic treatment, prosthodontics, and oral surgery, in addition to developing innovative services that include providing home dental care, as well as enhancing digital services by providing a dental scanner and converting a number of procedures to digital form, in order to enhance Efficiency of service delivery.

At the primary health care level, the Foundation’s centers offer an advanced model that combines comprehensiveness and specialization, as the Al-Ittihad Health Center provides about 20 services, including 10 digital services, covering all age groups and both genders, and including family medicine, child health, adolescent health, and school health, in addition to specialized dental services, including orthodontics, in addition to mental health services, general radiology, urgent care, and others.

At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Al Olama praised the rapid qualitative developments witnessed by the institution, stressing that this integration between subspecialties, preventive services, advanced technologies, and scientific research embodies an advanced model of health care that reflects the commitment of the Emirates Health Services Corporation to provide high-quality health services based on the needs of society, and keeping pace with the best international practices.
