"Sharjah Heritage" It discusses developing institutional performance and enhancing its cultural presence regionally and internationally

Sharjah, April 24 / WAM / The Sharjah Institute for Heritage discussed, during an expanded coordination meeting held yesterday evening at its headquarters, the foundations of institutional work and mechanisms for its development in a way that supports the process of preserving the Emirati cultural heritage and meets the aspirations of the Emirate of Sharjah, in addition to enhancing integration between the institute’s departments and branches and raising the level of performance and heritage programs to keep pace with the next stage.

The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al Muslim, President of the Sharjah Heritage Institute, in the presence of His Excellency Abu Bakr Al Kindi, Director of the Institute, and the directors of departments and branches in Al Dhaid, Khor Fakkan, Kalba, and Dibba Al Hisn, at the Al Bait Hotel in Sharjah.

The meeting discussed the Institute’s policies and strategic vision, with a focus on developing institutional performance and enhancing coordination between departments and branches, in addition to reviewing the progress of work in heritage programs and initiatives, and discussing ways to improve the quality of services provided. It also discussed the success of the events and their outcomes and their impact on enhancing the cultural presence of the Institute, in addition to the importance of external participation in expanding the scope of the definition of Emirati heritage and consolidating the Institute’s position in the cultural and scientific scene.

His Excellency Dr. Al Muslim stressed the need to implement the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, aimed at preserving the Emirati heritage and enhancing awareness of its value, pointing to Sharjah’s leadership in protecting heritage through well-established projects and initiatives that extended over decades, directing the necessity of implementing programs and activities in accordance with the approved plans, with a focus on documenting and disseminating them, and enhancing the Institute’s presence locally and internationally through qualitative contributions that receive wide acceptance and notable praise.

For his part, His Excellency Abu Bakr Al-Kindi stressed the importance of continuing to develop the institutional work system and enhancing integration between departments and branches, which contributes to achieving qualitative outputs that reflect the status of the institute and its cultural role, praising the tangible cooperation between the work teams, pointing out that this harmony contributes to the success of events and programs and enhances the efficiency of performance and the quality of the outputs.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the attendees stressed the importance of supporting projects under implementation and enhancing institutional integration in a way that contributes to achieving the Institute’s goals and improving the quality of work and its outputs with efficiency and distinction.
