المملكة: To protect the coastal environment… 30 volunteers clean the Darien and Tarut mangrove beach
The Qatif Governorate Municipality launched an environmental initiative to clean Social responsibility, to remove waste that distorts the environmental landscape and threatens the sustainability of the coasts.
A very important environmental wealth
The director of the Community Participation Department in the Qatif Governorate Municipality explained, "Muhammad Al-Mishaal"Preserving mangroves is a top priority within environmental sanitation plans.
Al-Mishaal confirmed that these trees represent Environmental wealth is extremely important, and contributes directly and effectively to protecting the coasts and enhancing biodiversity in the region.
He revealed that the municipality has implemented more than 10 environmental initiatives since the beginning of 2026, targeting all segments of society to raise the level of awareness and the culture of volunteer work.
The Director of the Community Participation Department called on all families and visitors to take the initiative and immediately report any negative practices related to waste dumping via the number 940.

At the field level, the volunteers demonstrated great interaction, as the volunteer expressed "Alawi Mounir" He expressed his great happiness in participating in cleansing the beach of pollutants.

The volunteer agreed with him. "Hussein Al-Radwan"who described his participation in cleaning mangrove forests as giving him an indescribable feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment.
He stressed "Al-Ridwan" The necessity of completely refraining from throwing waste, considering that maintaining cleanliness is the only guarantee for protecting the environment for future generations.
