The UAE national mini-football team is the first in Asia and the 16th in the world

The International Federation of Mini-Football’s classification placed the UAE national team in first place in Asia, third in the Arab world and sixteenth in the world, according to the report issued yesterday evening.

The Azerbaijan national team topped the world national team rankings, the Serbian national team came second, the Romanian national team third, while the Libyan national team came in twelfth place, and its Moroccan counterpart came seventeenth.

Sarmad Al Zadjali, Executive Director of the Mini Football Committee, confirmed that the new international classification is linked to the last international participations in 5 years, explaining that the positions obtained by our national team are based on its participation in 5 international tournaments, its qualification to the quarter-finals of the 2023 World Cup, then its participation in the 2025 Asian Championship, which saw it win third place, leading to its reservation of its place in the 2025 World Cup in Azerbaijan, in addition to the Uzbekistan International Championship. 2025 and winning fourth place, all of which contributed to raising his ranking.
