"Sharjah resources" The police celebrate the graduation of members of the Business Continuity Program
Sharjah, April 29 / WAM / The Sharjah Human Resources Department and the Sharjah Police General Command celebrated the graduation of members of the Business Continuity Program, in the presence of His Excellency Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, Head of the Department, and His Excellency Brigadier General Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of the General Administration of Prevention and Safety, along with a number of officials.
The program comes within the framework of joint efforts to enhance the readiness of government and private agencies in the emirate to confront crises and emergencies, by applying business continuity standards and reducing potential impacts on vital operations, which contributes to restoring activities efficiently and quickly.
The program included specialized topics that included the concepts of business continuity, business operations management, emergency, crisis and disaster management, in addition to internal review and auditing, in a way that enhances the integration of roles and improves the efficiency of the work teams concerned.
The program targeted business continuity teams in various entities, and its training programs were implemented in the city of Sharjah, ensuring the fulfillment of the program requirements and raising the efficiency of institutional practices.
The graduates were honored and given certificates in recognition of their efforts and participation in completing the program requirements.
Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi stressed that the program comes within the department’s keenness to enhance the readiness of government and private agencies and raise the efficiency of institutional work to confront crises and emergencies, ensuring the continuity of vital services, noting that cooperation with the Sharjah Police General Command embodies the integration of roles and the application of best practices in this field.
Al-Naour explained that the program represents a step within a training plan for the year 2026 that includes a number of specialized programs, including accredited courses in cooperation with the BSI Institute, in keeping with the best international practices in business continuity, and contributing to enhancing the readiness of government agencies and the sustainability of their services.
