The draw between Hatta and Al-Orouba mixes the cards for promotion to the “professionals”

The Hatta and Al Orouba teams tied (1-1) yesterday, in a postponed match from the 25th round of the First Division Football League, mixing the cards and directly affecting the promotion calculations.

Al-Orouba opened the scoring through its Malian player, Tikoura Traore, in the 11th minute, before Hatta succeeded in equalizing through Moroccan Ayman Rashouk in the 42nd minute.

With this result, Hatta’s score rose to 44 points in third place, which is the same score as Al Orouba, which is in fourth place, with each team playing 23 matches, which intensified the struggle for the advanced positions as the end of the season approached.

The match witnessed a high technical level from both teams, with an exchange of unsuccessful attacks on more than one occasion, amid a balanced performance from both sides.

In stoppage time, the match referee showed a red card to the Hatta player, Daniel Ledesma, (90+8), in addition to showing six yellow cards during the course of the match.

The United team benefited from the result, as it maintained a six-point difference over third-place team Hatta, which enhances its chances in the promotion race during the coming rounds.
