I hope Al-Shabab Club returns… and we have a strong connection to this entity

The former president of Al-Shabab Al-Arabi Sports Club, Youssef Al-Sarkal, wished that Al-Shabab Club, which was merged with the Dubai Club and Al-Ahly Club about nine years ago, would return to one club under the name “Shabab Al-Ahly Club,” considering that the name of Al-Shabab Club is enough for it to have its status, describing it as a strong club, and that they have a strong affiliation to it, indicating that his generation deserves to have the name of its club returned to it again.
Al Sarkal added in the “Jawareh 1958” program, presented by Walid Obaid via social media platforms, in response to a question about what if the Al-Shabab Club returns: “I hope that one day there will be a blessing from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, for the name Al-Shabab Club to return.”
He continued: “The name of the Al-Shabab Club is enough for it to have its status, and our generation deserves to have the club’s name returned to it again, as we have a strong connection to it, so there is prayer for the club’s return, and the wish also exists, and the generosity is present with His Highness the Ruler of Dubai.”
Youssef Al Sarkal indicated that they will remain loyal to the Al-Shabab Club entity, describing this as the natural thing for this entity, noting that nine years have passed since the decision to merge.
The Al-Shabab Al-Arabi Sports Club was founded in Dubai in 1958 before it was merged.
Yousef Al Sarkal held several sports positions, including President of the Emirates Football Association, President of the General Sports Authority, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Shabab Club.
