13 terrorists were killed in two security operations in northwestern Pakistan

13 armed terrorist elements were killed during two security operations carried out in the northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan, after thwarting two infiltration attempts across the border with Afghanistan.
The Pakistani Army Public Relations Department reported in a statement today that security forces clashed with a group of militants in Mohmand Province as they attempted to infiltrate, killing eight of them, adding that in a second operation in North Waziristan Province, five militants were killed after an intense exchange of fire during the thwarting of another infiltration attempt.
