المملكة: With more than 113 million riyals… awarding contracts for the maintenance and operation of 1,837 mosques and mosques in the regions of the Kingdom


Under the guidance and attention of His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh, the Ministry continues to award contracts for the maintenance, cleaning and operation of a group of mosques and mosques in a number of regions and governorates of the Kingdom, as part of its ongoing efforts to care for Mosques and mosques in Al-Hareeq Governorate, (102) mosques and mosques in Al-Dawadmi Governorate, in addition to (129) mosques and mosques in Afif Governorate.
In the Al-Bahah region, the contracts included the maintenance, cleaning and operation of (181) mosques and mosques in Al-Mandaq and Bani Hassan Governorates, and (123) mosques and mosques in Al-Qura Governorate, while Al-Jawf region included maintenance, cleaning and operation (201) mosques and mosques in Tabarjal Governorate.

The contracts in the Qassim region also included maintenance, cleaning, and operation of (259) mosques and mosques in Al-Bada’i Governorate, and in the Hail region (354) mosques and mosques in the governorates of Al-Rawda, Faid, Al-Shannan, Samira, Baqa’, and Al-Ghazala. In the Eastern Region, the contracts included (153) mosques and mosques in the governorates of Qaryat Al-Olaya and Al-Nairiya, while the Medina region included the maintenance, cleaning, and operation of (159) mosques and mosques.

These contracts come as an extension of the Ministry’s efforts to care for the Houses of God, prepare them for worshipers, and raise the efficiency of operation and maintenance in a way that achieves the highest standards of quality, and reflects the level of care given by the wise leadership – may God support it – to mosques in various regions of the Kingdom.​
