Omar Al-Ulama: Unifying the armed forces is a strategic pillar in the Union’s journey and preserving its national achievements
Abu Dhabi, 5 May / WAM / His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, Director General of the Prime Minister’s Office, confirmed that the Armed Forces continue the path of development and qualitative progress under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, “may God protect him,” stressing that the anniversary of its unification represents a national occasion firmly established in the conscience of society, and a strategic station in the process of union, on which the state continues to build in the service of society and future generations.
On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary and the golden jubilee of the unification of the armed forces, His Excellency said that the unification of the armed forces embodied the authentic meaning of the slogan “One Army, One Spirit, and One People,” within an integrated national equation that strengthened the cohesion between the leadership and the people and established the lofty values of the Union. He stressed that the UAE had chosen, since its founding, for its Union to be the source of its strength, and for its Armed Forces to be the symbol of its pride, which made the Union more solid and capable of facing challenges with confidence and ability.
His Excellency added that the UAE Armed Forces continue to perform their pivotal role with high efficiency in defending the nation and protecting its achievements, in addition to their noble humanitarian role in various crises, as they continue to provide an honorable model that reflects the UAE’s values based on human beings first, and that protecting national gains is an integrated responsibility with a humanitarian message that contributes to establishing security and stability, and enhances the state’s presence as an active partner in building a safer and more prosperous future.
