المملكة: Within 12 minutes… "Rapid intervention" Recreates the heartbeat of a pilgrim in Mecca

Shares Rapid Intervention within the urgent care pathway system, one of the The Saudi healthcare model saved the life of an Indian pilgrim within 12 minutes after he was exposed to Acute heart attack.
The Makkah Al-Mukarramah Health Cluster explained that a specialized medical team at Ajyad Emergency Hospital, a member of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Health Cluster, was able to save a beneficiary who came to the emergency department with his family, complaining of chest pain that began with him two hours before his arrival at the hospital.
While he was in the emergency department, the medical team performed the necessary tests and a direct cardiac arrest was noted, and the medical team performed cardiac resuscitation. The beneficiary’s lung condition lasted for 15 minutes until the heart started beating again – thanks to God – and the service was provided to him, where he was given blood thinners and cholesterol medications.
Urgent Care System
The speed of the medical team’s response, after God’s providence, helped stabilize the condition within the standard time that is in line with the urgent care system, one of the systems of the Saudi health care model for dealing with these emergency cases.
The beneficiary was transferred to King Abdullah Medical City – a member of the community. Makkah Al-Mukarramah Health Assembly -, to complete receiving the necessary specialized medical care.
The Makkah Al-Mukarramah Health Assembly confirmed that this achievement reflects the readiness of its medical staff and health facilities in dealing with critical cases, indicating that the speed of intervention contributes to saving lives and reducing complications resulting from heart attacks.
