The Head of State receives the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar
Abu Dhabi, 7 May / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly State of Qatar.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Prime Minister conveyed to His Highness the greetings of his brother, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, and his wishes for the UAE to continue progress and prosperity. His Highness also conveyed to him his greetings to his brother, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and his wishes for Qatar and its brotherly people further growth and development.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed fraternal relations and ways to enhance cooperation and joint work between the two countries in various fields in a way that serves their mutual interests and benefits their brotherly peoples.
The meeting also discussed developments in the regional situation, with their serious repercussions on regional and international security and stability. His Excellency the Prime Minister renewed his condemnation of the Iranian terrorist attacks that targeted civilians and civilian sites and installations in the UAE. He stressed the solidarity of the State of Qatar with the UAE and its support for all measures it takes to preserve its sovereignty and security and ensure the safety of its citizens.

General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs, His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, advisor to His Highness the President of the State, and a number of sheikhs, ministers and officials.
