ADNEC and Khalifa University cooperate in supporting innovation, education, and organizing national events

Abu Dhabi, 8 May / WAM / ADNEC Group and Khalifa University of Science and Technology signed a memorandum of understanding on the sidelines of the “Make in the UAE 2026” platform activities, in a step that strengthens their partnership to support innovation, education and cooperation in national events.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, CEO of ADNEC Group, and Professor Ibrahim Al Hajri, President of Khalifa University.
Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri said: This cooperation is an important step in our efforts to enhance the quality of our activities and support the innovation system in the UAE. Through cooperation with Khalifa University, one of the leading global institutions in the fields of education and scientific research, we aim to launch influential initiatives that contribute to advancing progress in the fields of technology, science and education. We will work together to strengthen Abu Dhabi’s position as a global center for innovation and talent development.
For his part, Professor Ibrahim Al-Hajri said that for Khalifa University, this partnership is a natural embodiment of an established and pivotal relationship in how we transfer our research and innovations to society. ADNEC is considered the place that brings together the sectors of energy, health care, agricultural technologies and security in the UAE and represents a platform for Khalifa University’s permanent presence through the technologies and human competencies it provides that contribute to supporting national goals. He expressed his pride in officially consolidating this commitment and strengthening it in a way that serves the development of the knowledge economy in the UAE.
According to the memorandum, ADNEC Group and Khalifa University will cooperate in organizing a number of major events within the Capital Events portfolio, including the International Exhibition for Homeland Security and Risk Prevention, ISNR Abu Dhabi 2026, the Unmanned Systems Exhibition, the Simulation and Training Exhibition, the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, the World Food Week, the International Defense Exhibition, the Defense and Maritime Security Exhibition, and the “Make in the Emirates” initiative, with a focus on education, research and innovation initiatives.
The memorandum of understanding stipulates that ADNEC Group will be appointed as the exclusive organizer of Khalifa University’s graduation celebrations by providing an integrated set of event management services that ensure high-level organization in accordance with the best standards of quality and efficiency.
Khalifa University’s annual graduation events are a highlight of the UAE’s academic calendar, celebrating hundreds of graduates in the fields of engineering, computing and life sciences.
Assigning the organization of these events to the ADNEC Group reflects the university’s keenness to provide an experience that rises to the level of the achievements of its graduates.
