Emirates Health Services: National cadres are the pillar of the health system

Dubai, May 9 / WAM / His Excellency Dr. Yousef Mohammed Al Sarkal, Director General of the Emirates Health Services Corporation, confirmed that “Emirates Medical Day”, which falls on May 9 of each year, embodies a solid national vision that places health competencies at the heart of the development equation, as it is the basic pillar of a health system based on proactiveness, efficiency and quality of results, and contributes to improving the quality of life and enhancing the country’s global competitiveness.
Al Sarkal said in a statement today on this occasion that the advanced indicators achieved by the health sector are no longer measured only by the volume of services provided, but rather by the system’s ability to predict health needs and respond to them with flexibility and innovation, pointing out that national health cadres constitute the real engine of this transformation, with their qualitative expertise, high efficiency and professional commitment.
Al Sarkal added: “On Emirates Medical Day, we do not celebrate health personnel as part of the system, but rather as impact makers who lead its transformation, enhance its readiness, and establish an advanced health model that puts people at the heart of its priorities, and transforms the quality of care into a sustainable value that is reflected in the life of society today and in the future.”
