"Dubai Basketball" It faces Buducnost in the semi-finals of the Adriatic League
Podgorica, May 13 / WAM / The Dubai Basketball team will meet with the Budučnost Vole team from Montenegro in the semi-finals of the Adriatic Basketball Association – ABA League, after the Montenegrin team qualified yesterday after defeating Cluj-Napoca of Romania in the third match of the quarter-final series.
The Dubai Basketball team had reserved its place in the semi-finals after achieving its second victory over the Serbian Spartak Office Shoes team, clinching the series with a score of 2-0.
The Buducnost Vole team is one of the most prominent basketball clubs in Montenegro. It is based in the capital, Podgorica, and has a record of participation and achievements at the local and regional levels.
The semi-finals will be held in the “best of 3” system approved by the quarter-finals, while the Dubai Basketball team has the advantage of playing the deciding match at home, if resorted to it, after topping the preliminary round standings with 21 wins versus 3 losses.
The Adriatic League announced that the dates for the semi-final matches will be determined after the completion of the quarter-final matches.
