The Ajman Excellence Program organizes an innovation laboratory to enhance government work and improve institutional services

Ajman, May 14 / WAM / The Innovation Lab, organized by the Ajman Government Excellence Programme, under the title “Participatory Laboratories”, reviewed the axes of government innovation and the possibilities for supporting it, in addition to introducing the government innovation framework based on the strategic vision and measuring impact.

The laboratory included interactive sessions aimed at analyzing the current situation, generating development ideas and proposals, evaluating them, and transforming them into implementable initiatives and projects, which contribute to developing institutional work and enhancing the culture of innovation.

The laboratory, which witnessed wide participation from government agencies in the emirate, aims to develop the skills of participants and consolidate the concepts of institutional excellence, as part of the program’s efforts to support innovation and develop government performance.

To ensure the comprehensiveness of the outputs and the diversity of ideas, the laboratory adopted a number of interactive methodologies that contributed to analyzing data and studying opportunities for improvement and potential challenges, in addition to organizing and formulating ideas within practical paths that support sustainable development and institutional improvement.

​The laboratory witnessed active participation from employees of government agencies in the emirate, as they sought to achieve tangible results, including increasing the efficiency of human resources, integrating data between agencies, and improving the leadership decision-making process based on accurate analyses.

The sessions concluded with the development of prototypes for the proposed ideas and initiatives, identifying the beneficiary groups and the added value of each initiative, in addition to developing accurate measurement indicators to support the pilot phase and measure the level of success and expected impact.

The collaborative laboratory is an interactive environment that brings together stakeholders, partners and experts to work in an integrated manner to discuss challenges and develop innovative solutions and initiatives, which contributes to improving services and raising the efficiency of institutional work, by adopting innovation and creative thinking methodologies and transforming ideas into implementable projects.

This laboratory comes within the framework of consolidating the collaborative work approach and enhancing the culture of institutional innovation, which contributes to developing services and raising the efficiency of government work, and supporting the emirate’s directions towards adopting the best international practices in the fields of excellence, digital innovation and sustainability.
