"It pulsates with its energy" It concludes its second leg in Zakher, Al Ain
ABU DHABI, 17th May / WAM / The Department of Community Development – Abu Dhabi concluded the second leg of the “Beats Her Heart” initiative in the Zakher area in Al Ain, which continued for three days and attracted more than 6,000 visitors.
The event witnessed a large attendance of children, youth and families.
The event was attended by His Excellency Shams Ali Al Dhaheri, Head of the Department of Community Development, accompanied by His Excellency Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Secretary General of the Zayed Humanitarian Legacy Foundation, His Excellency Hamad Sayyah Al Mazrouei, Undersecretary of the Department of Economic Development, His Excellency Abdullah Al Humaidan, Director General of the Zayed Authority for People of Determination, and His Excellency Dr. Mona Al Mansouri, Acting Director General of the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority, accompanied by a number of officials from various agencies and partners.
The event witnessed a large turnout from residents of Zakher and neighboring areas.
Zakher Station was distinguished by providing an inspiring space that hosted more than 12 creative workshops throughout the days of the event.
Fatima Abdul Rahman Al Hosani, Director of the Community Cohesion Department at the Department of Community Development – Abu Dhabi, explained: “The enthusiasm and interaction we saw at the Zakher station confirms that the initiative touched the aspirations of the people and reflected the desire of the local communities for active participation.
Al Hosani added that the interaction in Zakher proved that communities adopt initiatives that express their identity and authenticity.
