Emergency intervention
The health cluster added that an emergency cardiac catheterization was performed on Hajj immediately, which revealed the presence of an acute and dangerous clot in the main coronary artery feeding the heart; The medical team succeeded – thanks to God – in completely opening the blocked coronary artery and installing a single therapeutic stent, which stabilized blood circulation and improved his vital indicators significantly, after which the ventilator was successfully disconnected and specialized and rehabilitative care was completed.
The gathering stated that the pilgrim left the heart center in good health after stabilizing his condition and completing the treatment and rehabilitation program in preparation for enabling him to complete the Hajj rituals, indicating that his health condition will continue to be monitored remotely via the smart watch within “Your Hajj Travel Companion” project, implemented in cooperation with Seha Virtual Hospital, which allows medical personnel to monitor the pilgrim’s vital indicators in real time to enhance the speed of response to the safety of the pilgrims.
