1,350 male and female students participate in the scientific research competition at Abu Dhabi University

ABU DHABI, 22nd May / WAM / The “Scientific Research and Innovation for University Students” competition, organized by Abu Dhabi University, attracted more than 1,350 male and female students, who presented more than 500 research papers from more than 71 local, regional and international universities.

The competition was held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and focused on 24 strategic areas, covering the sectors of health, sustainability, artificial intelligence and new technologies.

Professor Montaser Qasaimeh, Associate Vice Chancellor for Scientific Research, Innovation and Academic Development at Abu Dhabi University, said that the competition embodies the university’s commitment to supporting the culture of creativity and scientific research, and encouraging young people to combine different scientific specializations.

He added that the competition is witnessing an increasing demand year after year, and provides a platform that brings together students, entrepreneurs, and change makers, and inspires and enables them to develop their research capabilities from the early stages of their academic career, and also provides them with the knowledge and tools necessary to face various challenges.
