Hiraa General Hospital explained that the medical teams took care of the case immediately from the moment of its arrival; The clinical evaluation and urgent diagnostic examinations were carried out, in addition to providing initial therapeutic interventions and performing a CT scan of the abdomen with dye, with the aim of reaching an accurate diagnosis and accelerating the life-saving treatment plan.
Accurate medical evaluation
The hospital stated that the results of the careful medical evaluation showed the presence of a strangulated right Spigelian hernia, which necessitated her immediate transfer to the operating room; She underwent a complex exploratory abdominal operation that lasted approximately three hours, with the integrated participation of the surgical, anesthesia, intensive care, and nursing teams. The operation was a complete success, with the preservation of intestinal integrity, repair of the hernia, and installation of a supportive surgical mesh.
