المملكة: "Mecca environment"More than 17 thousand beneficiaries of slaughterhouse services within a week

Declared in the More than 17,569 people benefited from the services provided through during the period from 1 to 7 Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH.
The services included veterinary examination, health control, and supervision of slaughter operations in accordance with the approved requirements, which contributes to preserving public health and ensuring the safety and quality of meat.
Slaughterhouses in the Holy Capital
This is in addition to organizing reception and operating operations inside the slaughterhouses in a way that achieves streamlines and raises the level of beneficiary satisfaction.
The South Mecca slaughterhouse (A) topped the number of beneficiaries with 7,250 beneficiaries, while the number of beneficiaries in the Al-Muaisem slaughterhouse reached 4,453 beneficiaries.
The South Mecca slaughterhouse (B) served 4,094 beneficiaries, while the West Mecca slaughterhouse provided its services to 1,772 beneficiaries.
Hajj Season 1447 AH
The Director General of the Ministry Branch, Eng. Walid bin Ibrahim Al Deghis, confirmed that these efforts are part of his operational plans for the Hajj Season 1447 AH.
They are based on raising the level of field readiness and integrating supervisory and technical work, to keep pace with the increasing numbers of beneficiaries during the season.
He also indicated the continuation of daily field follow-up of slaughterhouses, markets and related facilities, to ensure compliance. In compliance with health and environmental requirements and achieving the highest standards of food safety for the guests of God and residents of the Holy Capital during the Hajj season.
