المملكة: King Faisal Hospital in Mecca saves a pilgrim from complications of a rare, complex intestinal perforation

Urgent and precise surgery
Thanks to God and the rapid response of the hospital’s surgical team, it was decided to perform an urgent and accurate surgery that took 4 hours, led by surgical consultant Dr. Muhammad Ashour, and with the participation of specialists Dr. Ibrahim Kharoub and Dr. Majid Al-Zahrani; The medical team was able to extract the foreign metal object and repair the hole with high precision, while completely cleaning the abdominal cavity of infections resulting from the leak. The speed of diagnosis and early intervention contributed to the patient not needing to enter intensive care. He performed his rituals in health and well-being.
