Sharjah Charity distributes 25,000 sacrifices to a quarter of a million beneficiaries

Sharjah, May 28 / WAM / The Sharjah Charitable Society implemented the sacrificial project for this year and distributed 25,000 sacrifices on behalf of the benefactors who entrusted the association to perform the ritual and distribute meat to those who deserve it, targeting 250,000 within the country and in a number of brotherly and friendly countries, in an atmosphere of joy and community compassion.
The project witnessed the distribution of 4,000 sacrifices within the country, through the association’s main headquarters in the city of Sharjah, in addition to its branches in Al Bataeh, Al Madam, Al Dhaid, Kalba, Khor Fakkan, and Dibba Al Hisn, where the meat was delivered directly to the needy families and the beneficiaries listed on the association’s lists, according to precise mechanisms that ensure that the meat reaches its beneficiaries.
Outside the country, the association distributed 21,000 sacrifices in 51 countries in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
Mohammed Rashid bin Bayat, Vice Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, confirmed that the Qurbani project represents one of the most important seasonal programs to which the Association pays special attention, because of its direct humanitarian impact in achieving community solidarity.
