المملكة: Salam thanks the Crown Prince for the decision to lift the ban on Lebanese exports

Provide Prime Minister of Lebanon Nawaf Salam With my highest thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud The Crown Prince and the Prime Minister on the generous decision to lift the ban on Lebanese exports, stressing that the decision reflects the depth of the fraternal and historical relations between the two countries.
Al-Ekhbariya channel quoted Salam as saying: The decision embodies the Kingdom’s confidence in Lebanon, and the joint keenness to strengthen economic and trade cooperation in a way that serves the interests of the two peoples. It also constitutes an important step to support the Lebanese economy and open new horizons for Lebanese producers and exporters, which contributes to enhancing growth and stability opportunities in the country.
The Lebanese Prime Minister added: We look forward to continuing work and coordination with the Kingdom to consolidate the bonds of cooperation and partnership in various fields in a way that achieves good and prosperity for both countries.
Directive of His Highness the Crown Prince
His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, made a phone call today, with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, during which he conveyed the directive of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect him – to resume exports. Lebanese government to the Kingdom, at the request of President Joseph Aoun, President of the Lebanese Republic, and the Prime Minister, and in accordance with the positive steps of the Lebanese government towards rebuilding state institutions, what the competent teams have accomplished over the past year, and the cooperation shown by the Lebanese side with them and the provision of the required pledges.
