Somali Omar Arten leads the Kuwaiti League final match

The Kuwait Football Association announced that it had received the approval of the Somali Football Association to appoint Somali international referee Omar Arten to manage the match between Kuwait and Al-Qadisiyah scheduled for June 29 in the final round of the Premier League, according to Kuwaiti media.
The match will witness the Kuwait Club crowning the league title.
The Kuwaiti Federation said that Artan will lead the match at the invitation of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwaiti Football Association, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Yousef Al-Sabah.
The Somali Federation’s letter included praise for the initiative, which reflects the spirit of friendship and mutual trust between the two federations, which would strengthen the relationship between the two parties.
Omar Arten was banned from refereeing in the World Cup after the United States refused him entry.
