Al-Mahra "RB Burn the Bell" Crowned with the President’s Cup title for Arabian horses in Italy

Milan, June 22 / WAM / The filly “RB Burn the Bell” won the title of the fifth leg of the Cup of His Highness the President of the State for Purebred Arabian Horses, which was held yesterday on the San Siro sand track in the Italian city of Milan, as part of the series of races of the thirty-third edition of the precious cup.

The championship succeeded in continuing its strong presence in major European races, confirming its prestigious position and its growing role in supporting the journey of the purebred Arabian horse around the world, in line with the vision of the wise leadership and its pioneering role in bringing about a qualitative shift in Arabian horse racing in various countries of the world.

The prestigious Cup race series is held within the framework of plans to develop the Arabian horse racing system, support owners and breeders around the world, and enhance the breeding and acquisition of purebred Arabian horses, in a way that preserves its ancient heritage and establishes its presence in the most important international tracks and races.

The filly “RB Burn the Bell”, descended from the lineage of “Majd Al Arab x RB Feel the Burn Bent Sandblast”, was able to provide a strong and distinguished performance, imposing its presence in one of the strongest stages of the tournament, and confirming its worth for the title after a confrontation that brought together the elite of purebred Arabian horses in Italy and Europe.

The champion belongs to the owner, Mohammed Abdul Latif Al-Hazami, and under the supervision of coach François Rohu, and led by the jockey Michael Forrest, as she covered the race distance of 2,100 sandy meters with a time of 02:22:1 minutes, in the race that was held in the first category designated for horses aged four years and above, and the value of its prizes amounted to 300 thousand euros.

“Lino”, descended from “A.F. Al-Bahr x Azza bint Karbala,” came in second place, while “Al-Zeer,” descended from “Al-Mamoun Munlu x Asma Al-Khalidiya bint Amer,” came in third place, in a race characterized by strength and competition until the finish line.

The victory of the filly “RB Burn the Bell” is added to the record of champions of the Italian station, which over the past years has witnessed the coronation of a group of prominent names, including “Lighting Bolt”, champion of 2017, “Fazza Al-Khalidiya”, champion of 2018, “Akoya”, champion of 2019, “Jazma Athba”, champion of 2020, “Hayan”, champion of 2021, and “Jarif”, champion of 2019. 2022 and 2023, “Ska Di Liguel” is the champion in 2024, and “HM Al Shaheen” is the champion in 2025.

The race was attended and the winners were crowned by His Excellency Abdullah Ali Al Sabousi, UAE Ambassador to the Italian Republic, His Excellency Faisal Al Rahmani, Secretary General of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the His Highness the President of the State Cup Series for Purebred Arabian Horses, along with Mattia Cadrubi, President of the Italian Federation of Arabian Horses, in the presence of an elite group of owners, breeders and those interested in Arabian horse racing.

For his part, His Excellency Faisal Al-Rahmani said: We congratulate the successes of the Italian station, and the distinguished presence it embodied in the precious cup at one of the most important European tracks, amid the strong participation of the elite of purebred Arabian horses, which reflects the prestigious position occupied by the international racing series.

He added that the Italy station is one of the important stations on the agenda of the Precious Cup, due to the technical, organizational and media gains it achieves every year, and what it contributes to consolidating the presence of purebred Arabian horses in Italian and European tracks, expressing pride in the continuous successes achieved by the Precious Cup, and the pioneering Emirati message it embodies in supporting owners and breeders and preserving this authentic legacy.
