المملكة: The Kingdom confirms before the Security Council its support for Syria’s sovereignty and condemns the Israeli incursions

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on behalf of the Arab Group, affirmed its support for the unity of the Arab Republic allocated to discuss the humanitarian and political situation in Syria." target="_blank" The Syrian government in combating the terrorist organization ISIS and terrorism in all its forms, stressing the importance of concerted international efforts to provide the necessary support during this stage.

It also urged the international community to strengthen and expand the scope of support provided to countries hosting Syrian refugees, and not leave them to bear the humanitarian and economic burdens alone.

The Arab Group condemned in the strongest terms the repeated Israeli incursions and attacks on Syrian territory, stressing that they represent a blatant violation of the sovereignty of Syria and its territorial integrity.

It reiterated the need to oblige Israel to fully adhere to the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, and to immediately and unconditionally withdraw from the occupied Syrian Golan.
