Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center continues to receive entries "Dhi competition" For photography
Abu Dhabi, June 25 / WAM / The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center continues to receive entries for the third session of the “Dhai Photography Competition”, under the theme “Within a Family”, as part of the initiatives launched by the Center in conjunction with the announcement of the “Year of the Family 2026”, highlighting the role of the family as the foundation of society and the spirit of its cohesion.
The third session of the competition focuses on highlighting the warmth of family gatherings in mosques managed and supervised by the Centre, to give photographers, both professionals and amateurs from different parts of the world, a creative space to document the atmosphere of family moments with their lenses, by sharing their photos taken using cameras or mobile phones, to document the influx of families to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Fujairah, the Sheikh Khalifa Grand Mosque in Al Ain, and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Al Ain. Sheikh Khalifa Al Kabir in Ras Al Khaimah.
The Center allocated financial prizes to the winners of the first three places, with the aim of motivating artists and photographers from different countries of the world, where the value of the first prize is 5,000 dirhams, the second is 3,000 dirhams, and the third is 1,000 dirhams.
The center allows photographers who attend the four mosques to submit their work through the “Spaces of Light Award” account on the Instagram platform, Spaces of Light (Sol), using the hashtag #familylight and #spacesoflight, or linking the photo to the award’s account @spacesoflight, noting that participation is open until July 12, 2026.
