"Ajman Resources" It issues a circular to reduce official working hours as part of an initiative "Our summer is balanced"

Ajman, June 26 / WAM / The Human Resources Department of the Ajman Government issued a circular to all government agencies in the emirate regarding reducing official working hours during the summer period, as part of the “Our Summer is Balanced” initiative, which aims to develop the work environment and enhance the balance between professional and social life, and in line with the goals and initiatives of the Year of the Family.

The circular stipulates reducing official working hours from Monday to Thursday to seven hours a day from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, during the period from June 29, 2026 until August 28, 2026, with official working hours continuing on Friday at four and a half hours, from 7:30 am to 12:00 noon, in accordance with the regulations in force in the Ajman government.

In the circular, the Human Resources Department confirmed the possibility of implementing the flexible working system by government agencies, provided that the employee’s working hours are not less than the number of official working hours specified in the circular.

The circular explained that government agencies that work in shifts are responsible for determining the start and end times of shifts in a way that suits the nature of their work and their operational needs, and in a way that ensures the continuity of providing government services efficiently and effectively.

The Human Resources Department confirmed its full readiness to provide technical and advisory support to government agencies to ensure optimal implementation of the provisions of the circular.
