المملكة: As an extension of its humanitarian giving, Saudi Arabia launches an integrated health complex in Damascus to serve thousands of beneficiaries

The project aims to provide an integrated system of primary health care services, as it includes a dialysis center equipped with four machines, clinics dedicated to children and women, in addition to other clinics in the specialties (internal medicine, eyes, ear, nose and throat, dentistry, family medicine), a speech and hearing rehabilitation center, and a unit An ambulance, an autism spectrum disorder rehabilitation unit, a medical laboratory, and a pharmacy, which contributes to Improving the quality of health services and meeting the needs of the population in the region.
The project also includes a social facility built according to a distinct architectural style to serve patients and the people of the region, in addition to commercial stores whose revenues were allocated to support the sustainability of the operation of the complex and ensure the continued provision of its health services efficiently, reflecting a development model that combines humanitarian work and sustainability.
Sustainable support from the leadership
His Excellency the Syrian Minister of Health stressed that the complex represents a qualitative addition to the primary health care system, He embodies concern for people and placing them at the top of priorities, expressing his deep thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them – for their continued support for the Syrian people in various sectors, especially the health sector.
In turn, His Excellency the Minister of Endowments praised the pioneering humanitarian role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, the King’s Centre. Salman Relief Foundation established the social facility, which represents an architectural jewel added to the Qudsaya area, and reflects the Kingdom’s interest in supporting humanitarian projects that combine human service and the promotion of societal values.
These efforts come as an extension of the humanitarian and relief role provided by the Kingdom, represented by the King Salman Relief Center; To support the Syrian health sector and enhance the ability of health facilities to provide quality and sustainable services, thus contributing to improving the quality of life and alleviating the suffering of the brotherly Syrian people.
