"Yas Waterworld" It holds a Guinness World Record for the largest number of water slides
Abu Dhabi, June 30 / WAM / Yas Waterworld, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, has officially won the Guinness Book of World Records title for the largest number of water slides in a water park, after setting a record of 55 water slides.
The Guinness World Records certificate was handed over to Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Zaabi, CEO of Miral, and Rayan Al Hadar, General Manager of Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, by Hanan Spiers, the official referee for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey region at Guinness World Records, during a special ceremony held at the award-winning water park, in a new station that reflects its continuous journey towards achieving global achievements.
Rayan Al-Hadar said that obtaining the Guinness World Records title for the largest number of water slides in a water park is a milestone that reflects the continued commitment to providing innovative water experiences according to the highest international standards.
He added that the new additions, including the tallest water slide tower in the UAE, have contributed to expanding the scope of the exceptional experiences we offer to our guests and taking them to new levels. With 55 water slides, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi continues to consolidate its position as one of the most prominent water entertainment destinations in the world, and a favorite destination for families, friends and those looking for thrill-filled experiences.
This achievement comes after the recent expansion witnessed by the water park, which added 11 new rides, slides and experiences within the world of “The Lost City”, which constitutes an extension of the main story “The Legend of the Lost Pearl”.
Today, Yas Waterworld, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, hosts more than 70 rides, slides and entertainment experiences, while its record of 55 water slides constitutes one of the most prominent elements of the exceptional experience it offers to its guests.
