ABU DHABI, 1st July / WAM / The “Community Contributions Authority – Together”, the official government channel in Abu Dhabi dedicated to receiving community contributions, and the Association of Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturing Companies in the Gulf “Pharmage”, which specializes in innovative biopharmaceutical research, signed a strategic cooperation agreement aimed at facilitating the access of patients with tumors and rare diseases from the groups most in need of innovative solutions and modern treatments, within an integrated framework with the health insurance system..

The partnership brings together the efforts of the public and private sectors to respond to urgent health needs, with a common focus on long-term impact and sustainability in providing health care to patients from the target groups, in a way that supports the stability of families and enhances their cohesion in the face of health challenges, coinciding with the declaration of the Year of the Family.

His Excellency Abdullah Al Ameri, Director General of the Community Contributions Authority – Ma’an, confirmed that cooperation with “Pharmage” constitutes a qualitative strategic step towards establishing a sustainable and integrated health care system for patients with oncology and chronic diseases in Abu Dhabi, which reflects our commitment to responding to and supporting social priorities that concern members of society, especially in the health sector.

He said: We in the Authority are keen to direct community contributions and efforts towards achieving a tangible and sustainable impact on the lives of individuals, especially patients with complex health conditions, noting that this cooperation embodies a model of integration of roles between the government and private sectors, by employing the expertise of the member companies of “Pharmage” and unifying their efforts within the “Together” platform, which contributes to enhancing access to specialized health care, improving the quality of life, and consolidating the values ​​of shared responsibility and community solidarity.

In this context, the “Community Contributions Authority – Ma’an” will manage the collection and direction of contributions according to agreed upon stages. A special committee will also be formed to follow up on developments in the initiative, by holding monthly meetings to evaluate developments, provide the necessary strategic consultations, and review the progress achieved to achieve effective participation and continuous exchange of experiences between the two parties throughout the project period.
