المملكة: Caught violating the environmental regulations by grazing in the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve


The Environmental Security Special Forces arrested a violating citizen Environmental Law, for committing a violation of grazing (59) camels in sites where grazing is prohibited in the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve, and legal procedures were applied against him. The forces confirmed that the penalty for grazing camels is a fine of (500) riyals for each camel.

Exploiting sediments in Medina

The Special Forces for Environmental Security also arrested a resident of Yemeni nationality who violated the environmental regulations. For exploiting sediments in the Medina region, and regulatory measures were applied against him. The forces explained that equipment used for bulldozing and transporting soil had been seized.

Violating the Imam Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Royal Reserve

The Special Forces of Environmental Security arrested a citizen violating the environmental law for entering with his vehicle in Al-Fayyad and Al-Rawdat in the Imam Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Royal Reserve, and Regular procedures against him.
The forces explained that the penalty for entering vehicles and cars in Al-Fayyad and the protected wild gardens reaches (2,000) riyals.

Reporting violations

The forces urged to report any cases representing an attack on the environment or wildlife on the number (911) in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Medina, Riyadh, Sharqiyah, and (999). And (996) in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions, and all reports will be treated with complete confidentiality without any responsibility on the part of the person reporting.
