The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs receives a copy of the credentials of the Ambassador of the Republic of the Marshall Islands
ABU DHABI, 1st July / WAM / His Excellency Omar Obaid Al-Hussan Al Shamsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received a copy of the credentials of His Excellency Catalino Kigener, Ambassador of the Republic of the Marshall Islands to the United Arab Emirates.
His Excellency welcomed the new ambassador, wishing him success in carrying out his work duties, and stressed the UAE’s keenness to strengthen constructive cooperation relations with the Republic of the Marshall Islands in various fields, especially in the sectors of climate action and sustainable development, and coordination in multilateral international forums, in a way that serves the common interests of the two countries and the two friendly peoples.
For his part, His Excellency Ambassador Catalino Kigener praised the distinguished regional and international standing enjoyed by the UAE under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, expressing his aspiration to continue strengthening bilateral relations and expanding the horizons of cooperation between the two countries in all sectors of common interest.
