Abu Dhabi Police organizes an awareness exhibition as part of the World Anti-Drug Day activities

ABU DHABI, 2 JULY / WAM / The Anti-Narcotics Directorate at the Abu Dhabi Police General Command organized an interactive awareness exhibition as part of the activities of World Anti-Drug Day 2026 and the National Anti-Drug Campaign under the slogan “Uniting ranks… to eradicate the scourge,” at the Bawabat Al Sharq Mall Mall, with the participation of the K9 Security Inspection Department and the Police Music Band and in cooperation with the National Rehabilitation Center and the Family Welfare Authority – Halfway Homes, as part of their ongoing efforts to enhance community prevention and spread Awareness of the dangers of drugs and psychotropic substances.
The exhibition aimed to educate community members, especially young men and women, about the dangers of drugs through cognitive and interactive content that employs the latest artificial intelligence technologies and digital solutions, which contributes to delivering preventive messages through innovative methods that enhance the effectiveness of awareness and consolidate positive behaviors.
The exhibition included interactive sessions using Video AI Motion technology, which presented content that simulated realistic situations explaining the dangers of abuse and methods of prevention, in addition to a virtual reality (VR) experience that allowed visitors to experience the health, psychological and social effects of drug abuse, thus strengthening the conviction of the importance of prevention and staying away from this scourge.
The event witnessed the presentation of the interactive “Decision Journey” platform, which highlights the importance of the decisions made by young people at various stages of their lives, and explains in a realistic manner that the right decision leads to a safe and successful future, while the wrong decision may lead to serious consequences, most notably falling into the clutches of drugs and addiction, with the aim of establishing a culture of conscious choice and enhancing individual responsibility towards protecting oneself and society.
The digital platform for drug prevention was reviewed, which provides an integrated digital library that includes awareness videos and interactive stories for children designed using artificial intelligence techniques, in addition to educational and guidance materials and various digital content aimed at spreading preventive awareness, establishing positive behaviors, and protecting community members from the dangers of drugs and psychotropic substances.
The exhibition included interactive smart games and awareness-raising activities targeting various age groups, in addition to introducing the digital platform for drug prevention, and displaying the “A Chance of Hope” service, which provides support and guidance to those seeking treatment and rehabilitation, and encourages early treatment as an important step towards recovery and positive integration into society.
