"Dubai Health" Launches a program to encourage children to explore the world of healthcare

DUBAI, 3rd July, 2018 (WAM) – Dubai Health has launched the “Dream-It, Dubai-It” program, which is an interactive educational program for children, allowing them to explore the world of healthcare through practical experiences, innovative workshops, and field visits, which helps them develop their skills and transform their ideas into inspiring projects.

The program embodies Dubai Health’s commitment to providing rich educational experiences that allow children to explore the health system and expand their horizons and scientific knowledge in an atmosphere full of fun and benefit, in the belief that today’s children are tomorrow’s thinkers and change makers.

The program will be held from July 15 to 30, and targets children from 10 to 13 years old. It focuses on stimulating their curiosity, encouraging them to think creatively, and developing ideas that can contribute to shaping the future of health care and improving human health.

Participants engage in practical experiences in the fields of artificial intelligence, medical robotics, virtual reality, and 3D printing, in addition to creative workshops, interactive discussions, and field visits, which gives them a broader understanding of the health care system and introduces them to its various specializations and fields.

Activities are held in a number of Dubai Health facilities, including the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, the Center for Innovation and Technology, Al Jalila Children’s Hospital, and the Al Jalila Foundation. The program also includes visits to the Etihad Museum and the Dubai Future Foundation, providing participants with an educational experience that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application.

The program concludes its activities by presenting the final projects, where participants present their ideas and plans for developing them and turning them into implementable projects, reflecting the skills and experiences they have acquired during the program.
