المملكة: 15,000 violators of residency, work, and border security regulations were arrested within a week


Continue Joint field campaigns to follow up and control violators of residency, labor and border security regulations, in all regions of the Kingdom.

The campaigns that took place from June 25 to July 1, 2026 resulted in the following results:

Capturing violators

First: The total number of violators who were caught in joint security field campaigns in all regions of the Kingdom reached (15,591) violators, of whom (7,759) were violators of the system. residence, (4488) violators of the border security system, and (3344) violators of the labor system.

Second: The total number of people arrested while trying to cross the border into the Kingdom reached (1629) people (46%) of whom were Yemeni nationals, (53%) Ethiopian nationalities, and other nationalities (01%), and (58) people were arrested for trying to cross the borders outside the Kingdom in an irregular manner.

Third: (17) people involved in transporting, harboring, and employing violators of the residency, labor, and border security regulations and covering them up were arrested.

Fourth: The total number of those currently subject to regulations implementation procedures has reached (27,445) violating expatriates, including (25,412) men and (2,033) women.

Fifth: (16,912) violators have been referred to their diplomatic missions for On travel documents, referring (4,174) violators to complete their travel reservations, and deporting (12,292) violators.

Reporting violations

The Ministry of Interior confirmed that anyone who facilitates the entry of violators of the border security system into the Kingdom, transports them within it, provides them with shelter, or provides them with any assistance or service in any way, exposes himself to penalties of up to 15 years in prison, a fine of up to one million riyals, and confiscation of the means of transportation and housing. The person used for shelter, in addition to defaming him.

She explained that this crime is considered a major crime that requires arrest and is against honor and trust, urging people to report any cases of violation to the number (911) in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Medina, Riyadh, and Al-Sharqiyah, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the regions of the Kingdom.
