Hossam Hassan hits us between halftime

Egyptian national team captain Mohamed Salah responded in a funny way to a question about his relationship with his coach Hossam Hassan, the coach of the Pharaohs.
In his statements during the mixed zone with journalists, Mohamed Salah spoke about the atmosphere of the Egyptian national team camp, in addition to his relationship with the Pharaohs players.
At the beginning of his statements, Salah said jokingly: “What’s different about the Egypt camp with Hossam Hassan? He hits us at halftime,” in a joke that came in response to rumors that spread during the recent period, which claimed that the coach was brutalizing the players at halftime.
Salah added: “There is nothing different in the camp, and I have become too old to follow what is published on social media (My daughters are of marriageable age).”
He continued: “I do not explain anything to anyone because I know my value well, as well as the value of the players, and I try as much as possible to help my colleagues, and this is what is most important to me.”
The Egyptian national team will meet in a strong confrontation with its Argentine counterpart, the defending champion, on July 7 in the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup, after the two teams achieved two exciting victories over Australia and Cape Verde in succession.
