المملكة: Al-Budaiwi calls on the international community to take a firm stance towards the Iranian attacks


The Secretary-General For the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, condemned and denounced in the strongest terms the targeting of Iran by targeting Saudi Carrier (Wadiyan) during the tanker’s transit and the Qatari tanker (Al-Rakyat), stressing that this is a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region.

The Ministry said in a statement: "The Kingdom affirms that Iran’s continued launching of these attacks constitutes a grave violation of international law and norms, and of Security Council Resolution No. 2817, which guarantees freedom of maritime navigation and safe passage of sea lanes. It stresses its demand for Iran to immediately stop everything that might threaten the security of the region and the safety of international navigation and energy supplies, and confirms that Iran is fully responsible for these attacks and their damages and all repercussions.".
